God taught me to be obedient to him and fully trusting Him with everything. 1 Cor 13:4-7 says love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Jean and I talked about everything everyday and that kept our relationship growing even when we are miles apart.
Honesty and openness and also praying together kept our faith alive that the perfect time will come and we will be all be together. That HE is in control whatever happens. I remember the day that i had to leave my son when he was just 2 weeks old. It was so hard that we will be apart and I wouldn't know when I will see and hold him again. But I always go back to (Jeremiah 29:11).
I know in my heart that God has put me in this situation to test and grow me. While waiting for the moment when we will be together, I focused my spirit to be more active in serving the church.
I currently lead a men's connect group and i also serve in the ushering team for our sunday service. As I grow my relationship with God, the pieces for my family to get here in NZ are falling slowly and steadily into place. It just shows how God is faithful to those who obey Him (Deuteronomy 7:9). An enduring and also exciting 10months passed before my family was able to move here in this beautiful country.
The struggle is real but being obedient to His word will reap your heart desires (Matthew 6:33). Now our son just turned one and praise God that we are complete as a family to celebrate this day and all the days to come (Romans 8:28).
