There are many tools in our engage toolbox to help present the gospel. Each tool utilises a different approach and each tool will be useful for a different application. In a multi-ethnic and multireligious context like Auckland, one tool is not likely to suit all situations and styles. For example, a non-practicing Catholic will place more value and authority on the Bible than an ardent Atheist. A Chinese individual who has never heard of Jesus will probably need a different approach than a Pacific Islander or Kiwi who has been raised in a religious home or culture. Regardless of the person’s worldview and upbringing, God loves them and God has called us to effectively reach them with the gospel. To do so will require an effective tool to share the gospel. Whichever tool you use, the goal is to clearly communicate God’s plan for salvation and redemption
