Wee-Yeong and his wife Reeta are the newest edition to the Pastoral covering for ENAC. Both are of Chinese Malaysian heritage, however Reeta moved to New Zealand before Wee-Yeong at the age of nine; he shifted at 16. The two met at University when they were both members of a Christian Club; this may have some input as to their heart to see the Universities across New Zealand impacted with the Gospel of Jesus. They wed in January of 2004, and are parents to two energetic young boys, Elyas and Levi.
Serving in the role of Associate Pastor, Wee-Yeong is accountable for all aspects of making the Sunday “celebration” experience impactful. With his Campus Pastor role, he oversees Every Nation Auckland City’s campus ministry called Every Nation Campus. Every Nation Campus aims to honor God and make disciples at the University campuses across the city of Auckland. He brings direction for the campus ministry, which includes organising and overseeing: outreaches, campus connect groups, and leadership and evangelism training on University campuses in Auckland. In addition, Wee Yeong also serves as an Elder and member of the Financial Board with ENAC.
Apart from her role as mum to their two sons, Reeta supports Wee-Yeong in ministry where required, particularly when they minister to the young couples. She has quite a creative background in design and photography, so she contributes regularly towards the running of events large and small. ENAC is grateful to have the Eyous as part of the leadership team!
